For the finishing of ski and snowboard edges
SKI MAN diamond stones are the newest and longest lasting diamond technology for the preparation and finishing of ski and snowboard edges.
Make three or four passes over the entire length of the edge using each grit and only light pressure, larger burrs can be worked with short strokes but make sure to blend in the area by steadily increasing the stroke length. Use a small amount of water to lubricate the stone.
The edge can be easily repaired and brought to the desired sharpness and finish by using the following steps: Deburr and create the correct side edge bevel by using the SKI MAN Diamond stone and file holder. Start the X- Coarse 100 grit and then working down through the finer grits in sequence to obtain a polished finish. (200, 400, 600, 1000 grit).
SKI MAN diamond stones can be used in both directions to remove material quickly and efficiently. Always make sure to use a file holder for the best results. Each SKI MAN diamond stone is clearly marked with the correct grit for easy identification.
The diamond stones can be easily cleaned with base cleaner and small nylon or brass brush. When properly cleaned and maintained, SKI MAN diamond stones can be used for the preparation and finishing of hundreds of ski and snowboard edges.
