• Stiff bronze brush for cleaning out wax before applying hot wax and exposing the structure

• High-quality horsehair brush to expose the base texture
After scraping, use the brush to expose the structure. Remember, it is the wax in the pores that helps improve glide, not the wax on the base or in the structure.
Choose a stiff brush if a hard wax was applied or a medium-hardness brush if a soft wax was used. Brush the base from tip to tail until no more wax is removed from the structure.
Next, use a soft nylon brush to get deep into the structure to remove any remaining wax.
Finish with a horsehair base brush to remove any static charge from the base.
